NEMSPA President, Gary Sizemore presents the 2007 NEMSPA Pilot of the Year award to Pete Hull

Pete began his career flying helicopters 40 years ago as an Army pilot. After flight school, he cut his teeth in Viet Nam, returning as an experienced and highly decorated aviator. After completing a BS degree in Aviation Mangement, he entered the world of EMS flying in 1980. In the years that followed, he served as a lead pilot and Regional Manager for Rocky Mountain Helicopters. Still flying as a National Guardsman, he was deployed to Kuwait in 2000. He served a second tour there a few years later. He was later designated the Program Aviation Manager for Lifenet of Florida. With over 11,000 hours flying helicopters and 27 years of EMS service, Pete says he will remain active as an air medical pilot so long as the flight doc will continue to renew his annual medical.
