About the Event

The Aviation Weather Demonstration and Evaluation (AWDE) Concept and Product Assessment Capability (CPAC) at the FAA William J Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ will once again act as a remote site to support the 2019 Aviation Weather Testbed (AWT) Summer Experiment from August 19th-23rd, 2019.

The AWDE CPAC will be recruiting GA and HEMS pilots to provide feedback on the updated Graphical Forecasts for Aviation (GFA) tool and the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) tool. Both products will have new capabilities that require feedback from users to determine the operational suitability and usability of the updated capabilities. All feedback provided from the users will be given directly to the developers to ensure future development meets your needs.

AWDE is looking for GA and HEMS Pilots to evaluate the products, August 19-22, of the experiment. The days start at 9:30 am ESTwith introductions. The evaluation of the products will begin at 10:00 am and conclude around 4:30 pm. In support of the Summer Experiment, we are actively seeking General Aviation and HEMS pilots to participate for at least an hour to provide feedback on each product. Please contact Danielle Kemler either through email (Danielle.ctr.Kemler@faa.gov) or by phone at 609-485-4128 to schedule a time that fits your schedule to participate and provide feedback or to ask additional questions.

Thank you.
